you asked for what our pantry looks like - I have none. So cans are stacked in cupboards in the kitchen, in the laundry - anywhere :)
ReplyDeleteMy pantry seemed like a huge closet when we bought our house 3 years ago. Now that it is stuffed full, it feels much smaller. I try to keep it neat, but these rotating shelves would make it so much neater. I would be able to see what canned goods I am running low on, and which ones we need to eat up!
ReplyDeleteMy pantry is actually clean. Only because I organized it two days ago. It will remain organized for about 2 weeks, then, my four children and husband will get tired of putting everything back the way they found it and it will need REorganizing.
ReplyDeleteMy pantry looks like they way your moms use to look. I go in there and clean it up, but by the next shopping trip it is a mess again. I could definetly use this shelving system.
ReplyDeleteMy storage closet, as I call it, has not earned the right to be called a pantry yet! A pantry should have the items needed to sustain your family. Well, my storage closet has items that have been stored there since before Hurricane Katrina and I know no one in my family will ever use or eat them, but I just cannot get rid of it. This storage system would be a great start to a real pantry and it would be greatly appreciated!

ReplyDeleteI have stacked cans, works pretty well unless I want to use one (or worse, one behind another stack) I guess my can columns are more decorative that useful. ReplyDeleteMy pantry looks good as along as I put the groceries away. If the task is done by the kids it will all be in there. I love to get a phone call asking where the sauce for dinner is, I reply " If you had put in the designated area you would have it now " Maybe they like those hidden object games a little too much.

Our stories are somewhat similar, except that I am not a consultant. They are similar in that my husband lost his job and was out of work for an extended period of time as well. It certainly does put things in perspective. Would love any shelving to help organize. :) Love food storage.
